Ultipro in Salem, Oregon is seeking Dedicated Support Direct Support Professionals to support one person in their family home. DSPs in this role are flexible, knowledgeable, creative, and organized to deliver excellent, person-centered care.

Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available at $23.50 per hour ($20 base wage plus $3.50 differential). Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, FSA, 401(k), gym discounts, and other employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age at start.
• Intermediate computer skills; ability to learn agency applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Description

Direct Support Professionals in this dedicated support role will work within our Life Launch Department supporting one person in their family home. This team of DSPs are flexible, knowledgeable, creative, and organized in all of their actions to deliver excellent support.

Wage & Benefits:$23.50/hour (Base wage is $20/hour plus $3.50 exceptional funding differential).

Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time positions open

• Most positions require a valid Driver's License and to be able to drive agency vehicles. Some non-driving shifts may be available.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age when starting employment.

Job Duties:

• Distributing medications, cooking, house cleaning, providing/assisting with transportation, working through challenging behaviors, and intimate care, including personal health routines.
• Assist with communicating using a photo communication system.
• Communicate and work closely with the person's supported family on all supports provided.
• Attend doctors’ appointments, providing oral and written follow-ups.
• Promote and implement PCL’s mission in the lives of those we support.
• Provide a stable living environment by respecting dignity, individual choice, input, and health and safety needs.
• Be an active participant in the design, implementation, and monitoring of Person Centered Plans.

Certifications and Training:

• Must pass required DHS background check and Protective Service Investigations.
• Most open positions requires a valid driver’s license and to be eligible to drive agency vehicles, there may be non-driving positions available.
• Complete and maintain all certifications as required by the position, PCL, and other governing agencies.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain certification to a satisfactory level in Oregon Intervention System (training provided if hired).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in CPR (training provided if hired).
• Complete all duties related to being a Mandatory Abuse Reporter.
• New hire orientation and on-site training must be completed within 60 days of hire.
