• Education: Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in the provision of physical therapy.
• Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected and delegated by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Modify a specific treatment procedure as needed within the PT's established plan.
• Document patient progress notes.
• Provide technical assistance and coordinate workload in the department as directed.
• Identify and report patient safety issues.
• Address age-specific needs for all patients.
