Penn State Health is seeking a Patient Safety Companion for Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA. This full-time role (0.90 FTE) supports patient safety under RN supervision. Shift is day hours 7:00a–7:30p with every third weekend coverage.

Responsibilities include constant observation, basic care to ensure patient comfort, and potential assignment to Hampden Medical Center as needed. Eligible employees gain access to Penn State tuition discounts starting Jan 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• AHA BLS certification required prior to end of orientation.

Responsabilités

• Provide constant observation and monitoring of assigned patient(s) to ensure safety.
• Assist with basic patient care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
• May be required to work at Hampden Medical Center.
