Job summary

KLS Kenco Logistic Services, LLC is seeking an OTR Driver to safely operate tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment. You will be responsible for timely deliveries, maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies, and conducting pre and post-trip inspections.

About the Position

The OTR Driver operates tractor/trailer or straight‑truck equipment in accordance with all DOT regulations to transport product safely and legally from the Distribution Centers, and their Vendors, to the destination. The driver is responsible for safe, timely delivery and maintaining compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Functions
  • Operate tractor/trailer or straight truck equipment to transport product safely and legally.
  • Ensure product is delivered in a timely manner and in original condition.
  • Monitor freight for secure devices and straps to prevent damage.
  • Follow company policy, complete required training, and keep the truck clean.
  • Maintain driver’s daily logs, trip reports, and other required documents.
  • Perform full pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on tractor‑trailer.
  • Immediately report damaged product to the Transportation Supervisor or Manager.
  • Communicate any delivery issues up line to the supervisor or manager.
  • Keep equipment fueled, tidy, and in compliance with inspection requirements.
  • Accountable for all assigned tools and equipment.
  • Maintain professional conduct toward other motorists.
  • Conform to all DOT and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform any other reasonable requests directed by management.
Qualifications

Travel Requirements

This position is expected to travel approximately 75% or greater. A passport is not required, but recommended.
