Job summary

EPES Transport System, LLC is seeking a Dedicated Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations for assigned accounts, ensuring safety, customer service, and driver goals are achieved. The role focuses on profitability through contract compliance, cost control, and growth.

This onsite position runs Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00AM-5:00PM and involves oversight of payroll, billing, driver coordination, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Two years of transportation operation experience in a fast-paced setting.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Regular, predictable attendance essential.
• Intermediate dispatch skills.
• Intermediate geography knowledge.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule customer shipments to align with service requirements; act as primary contact for day-to-day needs.
• Submit payroll accurately and on time per company standards.
• Manage billing processes; collaborate with customers to resolve discrepancies.
• Engage with drivers to address daily operational concerns and escalate issues as needed.
• Partner with PTL to ensure equipment receives timely preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Implement and oversee safety programs including Smart Drive and driver coaching.

Position Summary:

This position is for EPES Transport, LLC., a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The primary purpose of the Dedicated Operations Supervisor role is manage the day-to-day operation of assigned Dedicated Account(s), ensuring that Safety, Customer, and Driver Goals are met or exceeded. Driving profitability through contract compliance, expense mitigation, and business growth.

Schedule: Onsite, Tuesday-Saturday 7:00AM-5:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule customer shipments to align with service requirements, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer needs.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll in compliance with company standards.
• Manage billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness; collaborate with customers to resolve any discrepancies.
• Engage with drivers to address daily operational concerns, escalating issues as necessary to maintain service quality.
• Partner with PTL to ensure all equipment receives timely preventative maintenance and necessary repairs.
• Implement and oversee company safety programs, including Smart Drive, High Risk Driver Reporting, and driver coaching initiatives.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Two years of relevant Transportation Operation Experience required, in a fast-paced environment. Operational Experience may be waived if applicable internal experience (ex: Admin).
• HS Diploma / GED required
• Intermediate computer skills
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
