Job summary

Coastal-Freight-and-Transportation in Windsor Locks is seeking Class A CDL local drivers for dedicated runs. Drivers will deliver groceries on a 46- to 53-foot trailer, with home daily schedules and a 5-on/2-off pattern.

The route covers a 250-mile radius from Windsor Locks, with pallets and both reefers and dry vans. Expect multi-stop loads (typically 3–4 stops) and backhaul duties; daytime cabs cannot be taken home during time off.

Qualifications

• CDL-A with a clean MVR and at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months.
• Ability to operate within a 250-mile radius around Windsor Locks.
• Teamwork and reliability for dedicated local deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry and frozen groceries on a 46- to 53-foot trailer.
• Handle multi-stop loads with typically 3–4 stops per trailer.
• Perform backhaul to return to the yard and maintain on-time delivery.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Dedicated deliveries to all stores have docks
• Trailers are pre-loaded
• Service area is 250miles from DC
• Deliver dry and frozen groceries on a '46, to'53ft trailer
• All freight is palletized
• Dedicated steady freight.
• Account utilizes both reefers and dry vans
• Multi-stop loads, usually 3-4stops per trailer
• Drivers will pick up backhaul to return to yard
• Automaticday cabs can'tbe taken home for time off.

Must have a CDL-A, a solid work history, a clean MVR, and minimum of 3Months of Tractor Trailer Experience in the last year.
