Job summary

Coastal-Freight-and-Transportation seeks Class A CDL drivers for dedicated local runs. You will pick up and deliver groceries on pre-loaded trailers, primarily serving stores in OH, IL and IN, with a home-daily schedule.

Earn $1,700–$1,900 weekly and about $88,500–$99,000 yearly, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. 53' or 51' trailers with reefers and dry vans.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 months tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months.
• Solid work history and reliability expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry and frozen groceries on a 53' or 51' trailer.
• Home daily on a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule across OH, IL and IN.
• Backhaul to yard; drop & hook and live loads as needed; steady freight.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Dedicated deliveries to all stores have docks
• Trailers are pre-loaded
• Service area is 275miles from DC
• Deliver dry and frozen groceries on a '53, OR '51ft trailer
• All freight is palletized
• Steady freight.
• Account utilizes both reefers and dry vans
• Drivers normally do 2 shorter loads per day or one long load
• Drivers will pick up backhaul to return to yard – drop and hook & live loads
• Automaticday cabs can'tbe taken home for time off.

Must have a CDL-A, a solid work history, a clean MVR, and minimum of 3Months of Tractor Trailer Experience in the last year
