Job summary

Coastal Freight and Transportation is seeking a Dedicated Local Driver (CDL-A) to support a local account. You will deliver dry and frozen groceries, operate within a 75–100 mile radius from DC, and return home daily.

The role requires a clean MVR, a solid work history, and at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last year. Expect a steady schedule with 2 stops per trailer in a reefers/dry van fleet.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required with valid license.
• Minimum of 3 months tractor-trailer experience in the last year.
• Clean MVR and solid work history.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry and frozen groceries within a 75–100 mile radius of DC.
• Operate on a dedicated local account with day shifts.
• Home daily with a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule.
• Perform 2 stops per trailer and backhaul as needed.

Dedicated Local Driver ($1,625 - $1,825 Average Weekly Pay!!)

We are looking for Class A, CDL drivers who can appreciate good consistent pay, excellent equipment, and a company that cares.

• Home Daily- 5 Days on 2 Days off
• AverageWeekly Pay -$1,625 to $1,825
• Average Yearly Gross - $85,000 to $95,000

• Drivers on this Local account will operate in a 250-mile radius around York PA
  POSITION DETAILS:
• Dedicated deliveries to all stores have docks
• Trailers are pre-loaded
• Service area is 75-100 miles from DC – no NY, NJ areas
• Deliver dry and frozen groceries on a ’53, OR ’51ft trailer
• All freight is palletized
• Drivers will not operate within New York City
• Dedicated steady freight.
• Account utilizes both reefers and dry vans
• Multi-stop loads, usually 2 stops per trailer
• Drivers normally do 2 shorter loads per day or one long load
• Drivers will pick up backhaul to return to yard – drop and hook 90% of the time
• Automaticday cabs that cannot be taken home for time off.
