Overlake is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support special needs students at the Specialty School in Bellevue. You will help develop and deliver IEPs and work closely with the classroom teacher to supervise activities.

The role runs Monday through Friday, with a full-time daytime schedule and benefits eligibility. Previous related experience and certs are valued, and paid time offered, with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High school grad; meet WA paraprofessional guidelines (2 college credits).
• Education or mental health degree preferred.
• Experience with behavioral challenges preferred in school/clinical settings.
• Right Response certification due within 6 months.
• CPR and First Aid (non-healthcare) within first year.
• WA driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist special needs students in a classroom at Overlake Specialty School, Bellevue.
• Support development/delivery of IEPs and supervise related activities.
• Collaborate with classroom teacher to ensure a safe, engaging environment.
