A Place At Home – Omaha/Papillion is looking for someone who views caregiving as a professional responsibility, not simply a job.

Position Details

• Pay: $17.00 per hour

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday

• Hours: 35.5 hours per week

• Location: Private residence, Omaha area

• Assignment: Consistent, one-on-one care for the same individual

Regular Schedule

• Monday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 9:30 PM

• Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Professional Expectations

This position requires an individual who maintains professional boundaries, handles feedback constructively, demonstrates emotional maturity, and can be counted on to provide consistent, attentive care without unnecessary personal distractions.

Personal cell phone use must be kept to a minimum while on duty. Caregivers are expected to remain attentive and engaged with the client throughout their shift. Personal texting, scrolling through social media, watching videos, or spending time on personal phone calls while responsible for client care is not acceptable. Necessary work-related communication and urgent personal matters are exceptions.

We are looking for someone who understands that being physically present is not the same as being actively engaged in providing care.
