Job summary

Right at Home is seeking caring caregivers to support clients in the Southwest Omaha area, including Springfield, Papillion, and Bellevue. Earn competitive pay with flexible scheduling, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and weekly pay.

You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, and transportation assistance while ensuring safety and dignity for clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to perform job duties.
• Must be physically able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, a vehicle, and current automobile insurance.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring/moving the client around the home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping, dishes, bed linens, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany the client on errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, showering, dressing, shaving.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, puzzles, and other activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):
