Job summary

The Standard is seeking a dedicated claims and leave administrator in Atlanta, GA, to act as the primary liaison for policyholders, employers, and employees regarding life, disability, and leave claims. You will manage claims end-to-end, coordinate paid parental leave and death claims, and support premium administration and contract interpretation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in leave management, STD, LTD, and life insurance (employer, broker, or carrier).
  • Experience managing claims processes and resolving complex customer inquiries.
  • Experience in Oracle or other Benefits Administration programs.
  • Strong knowledge of benefit contract interpretation and premium administration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for policyholders, employers, and employees on claims and coverage inquiries.
  • Administer life, disability, and leave claims, including coordination of paid parental leave and death claims.
  • Resolve escalations related to claims, billing, and contract interpretation.
  • Partner with HR and Benefits teams across multiple locations.
  • Provide reporting on claims status, outstanding items, and Evidence of Insurability.

Are you ready to make a difference?**Job Summary**This role serves as the primary liaison between the policyholder and The Standard, supporting employers and employees with group life, disability, and leave-related inquiries. You will independently manage claim processes, coordinate death claims, and assist employees with filing claims, while ensuring accurate premium administration and contract interpretation. The role partners closely with HR and Benefits teams to resolve customer service, claims, and coverage issues, including escalations.
