The Standard is seeking an on-site Bilingual On-Site Account Specialist in Miami, FL. You will serve as the primary liaison for policyholders and employers, handling claims across life, disability, and leave programs while ensuring accurate premium administration and contract interpretation.

You will work with HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams, provide claims reporting, and support process improvements to enhance customer experience and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in FMLA, STD, LTD, and life insurance.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Experience managing claims processes and resolving complex inquiries.
  • Strong knowledge of benefit contract interpretation and premium administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience coordinating projects and cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for policyholders, employers, and employees on claims and coverage inquiries.
  • Administer life, disability, and leave claims, including coordination of death claims.
  • Resolve escalations related to claims, billing, and contract interpretation.

Are you ready to make a difference?## **Job Summary**This role serves as the primary liaison between the policyholder and The Standard, supporting employers and employees with group life, disability, and leave-related inquiries. You will independently manage claim processes, coordinate death claims, and assist employees with filing claims, while ensuring accurate premium administration and contract interpretation. The role partners closely with HR, Benefits, and Payroll teams to resolve customer service, claims, and coverage issues, including escalations.
