Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking drivers for round-trip dedicated runs hauling preloaded trailers to outdoor retail stores across the Midwest. You will operate consistent lanes with trailers preloaded and return loads on the way back, averaging 1,800–2,200 miles weekly.

New CDL-A holders are welcome to apply. Training is provided with guaranteed weekly pay during 4–6 weeks of onboarding. Health, dental, and vision insurance begin after 30 days, plus a 401(k) with company match and paid time off.

• Trainees welcome with 120+ hours CDL training.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in last 12 months or 12+ months in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Haul round trips from a Wisconsin distribution center to Midwest retail stores across WI, IL, IA, IN, MN, SD, and NE.
• Preloaded trailers; return loads on the way back; learn consistent lanes quickly.
• Maintain ongoing, steady lanes and manage 1,800–2,200 miles per week.

The Run

• Round trips from a Wisconsin distribution center to retail stores in WI, IL, IA, IN, MN, SD, and NE
• Trailers are preloaded, return loads on the way back
• Consistent lanes you will learn fast
• 1,800 to 2,200 miles per week

Pay

• $1,200 to $1,400 average weekly gross
• $0.59 per mile to start, up to $0.63 per mile with experience
• $15 stop pay
• $75 safety bonus

Home Time and Hours

• Home on your 34 hour reset, possibly every 2 weeks depending on freight volume
• Night runs and winter driving are part of the job
• Holiday work depends on store needs

New CDL Holders

• New CDL-A holders are welcome to apply
• 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer, guaranteed weekly training pay
• Must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL
• Trainees welcome, no prior experience needed: just a valid Class A CDL and 120+ hours of CDL training
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years, no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
