Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking CDL A drivers for Brooklyn Center, MN. This dedicated retail account uses preloaded trailers for round-trip runs with home time on a regular schedule. Regional routes cover WI, IL, IA, IN, MN, SD and NE, with a weekly mileage typical of 1,800–2,200 miles.

Pay scales from $0.59 per mile up to $0.63 with experience, plus stop pay and safety bonuses. New CDL holders receive over-the-road training with pay, while experienced drivers can expect progression and continued wage

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• New CDL holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Valid license in your state of residence and verifiable work history for past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years; no major preventable accidents in 5 years; no DUI/DWI in 5–10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate preloaded trailers and handle round-trip runs.
• Adhere to regional routes across WI, IL, IA, IN, MN, SD and NE.
• Maintain safety standards and meet weekly mileage targets.

The Paycheck

• $1,200 to $1,400 average weekly gross
• $0.59 per mile to start, up to $0.63 with experience
• 1,800 to 2,200 miles a week
• $15 stop pay, $75 safety bonus

New CDL Holders

• Paid over the road training with an experienced trainer
• Weekly training pay
• Full solo pay once you finish
