Job summary
Sysco is seeking a delivery driver to safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse by driving a tractor-trailer to customers and delivering and unloading according to invoices and company standards. Top earners make up to $150,000!
The role involves unloading, completing DOT-compliant paperwork, and maintaining food safety and sanitation in the vehicle and warehouse. Overnight schedules, weekends, and evening dispatch may apply; benefits include medical, dental and vision
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED plus 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
- Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Safely transports product from warehouse to customer on assigned route and delivers on time.
- Unloads product from trailer and places it in designated storage areas following procedures.
- Completes all required paperwork (logs, inspections, delivery receipts) accurately and promptly.
- Maintains safety and sanitation standards in vehicle and warehouse; reports any issues to management.
