AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is hiring a dedicated Class A CDL truck driver in Denver, CO. The role involves local dedicated runs, flatbed work with no tarping, and occasional overnight stays with paid hotel and per diem.

You will operate company equipment across intra- and inter-state routes, load and unload freight, and ensure safety, compliance, and on-time performance. Opportunity includes benefits and a structured onboarding process.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Operate commercial vehicles safely following all regulations and company policies
• Meet DOT medical standards and maintain certification
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects
• Record trip data using company IT equipment (ELD, VIR, dispatch)
• Ensure proper cargo securement and safe loading/unloading
• Maintain communication with dispatch and adhere to schedules
• Represent the company professionally to customers and team
• Perform other duties as assigned

We are immediately hiring a local dedicated CDL Class A truck driver at our Portland, ORservice center.

Dedicated Class A CDL Truck Driver

• Flatbed, No tarping

• Guaranteed 40 hours

• Occasional overnight, paid hotel, per diem

Pay Range:$33.50-$35.850/hr

Job Summary

Dedicated Drivers operate commercial vehicles with various trailer combinations across intra-state and inter-state routes. This includes travel between company service centers and meet-and-turn points. Drivers may also be responsible for sorting, loading, unloading, and handling freight as needed. The position requires strict adherence to safety, compliance, and performance standards to ensure the efficient and secure transportation of freight.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely while adhering to all state and federal regulations, including traffic laws, hours of service, and hazmat transportation requirements.

• Meet DOT medical standards and maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of company equipment and report any defects.

• Operate company-provided IT equipment in compliance with policy to record ELD, VIR, trip, and dispatch information.

• Ensure proper cargo securement to prevent damage during transport.

• Load, unload, and secure freight as required.

• Maintain communication with dispatch and adhere to trip scheduling requirements.

• Exhibit professional conduct and represent the company in a positive manner with customers and team members.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Successful completion of new-hire training, including assessments, driving test, trailer combination test, and forklift test

• Minimum 21 years of age

Physical Requirements

This position requires but is not limited to the following physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, material moving, lifting, and reaching.

In addition, this position requires but is not limited to the following cognitive requirements: Maintain situational awareness, read manifests, interpret navigation, and identify shipment labels accurately. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Working Environment

This position operates in various environments, including indoor docks, enclosed vehicles, and outdoor areas. Work may occur in extreme temperatures, inclement weather, low-light conditions, and around moving equipment or other personnel engaged in freight handling.

Operating Schedule

Days: Monday through Sunday (varies by business needs)

Shifts: AM/PM " schedules are determined by operational requirements and subject to change.

Pay Range: 33.50-35.85 per_hour, General Benefits:
