Job summary

American Trucking Group in Mobile, AL is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for a dedicated steel-haul role. You will handle tarping and securement on stainless steel freight, with weekly home time and a 34-hour reset.

Assigned newer Kenworth tractors and 48-foot trailers support nationwide deliveries. Weekly pay ranges from $2,000 to $2,100, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified drivers and $100 per day orientation pay.

Qualifications

• CDL-A required with valid license.
• Minimum 1 year of OTR experience within the last 5 years.
• Minimum 6 months of flatbed experience.
• Steel-hauling experience required.
• Tarping and load-securement experience required.
• Coil-hauling certification required before hauling coil freight.
• Acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily flatbed operations with tarping and securement on steel coils and flat sheets.
• Pull loads nationwide with 48-foot flatbed trailers.
• Coordinate with backhauls towards Alabama.
• Operate assigned newer-model Kenworth tractors.
