Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in Thompson, CT. You will drive a day cab tractor pulling a 48-53’ trailer, making deliveries to customers.

We offer $0.69 CPM and $10.45 per stop, Monday–Friday schedule, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid vacation, PTO and holidays, plus Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, and a 401(k) with company match and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer experience
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No more than three moving violations and/or accidents in 3 years
• Must be able to obtain TSA security clearance

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to locations based on daily manifest and potential returns
• Ensure security and safety of tractor and freight in compliance with DOT regulations
• Build relationships with customers and account managers through effective communication
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
