Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Thompson, CT is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team. You will operate a day cab tractor pulling 48-53’ trailers, delivering to customers.

The role requires a CDL-A, at least 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience, and a clean driving record; you will follow DOT regulations, perform pre/post inspections, and build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Must hold or obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• No more than three moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to locations per daily manifest and returns as needed.
• Ensure safety of tractor and freight; comply with DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and account managers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Overview

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL-A Truck Driver to join our team in Thompson, CT. You will be driving a day cab tractor pulling a 48-53’ trailers making deliveries to customers.

Location: Ded-Unicorr-Thompson CT, 720 Thompson Road, Thompson, CT 06277, USA

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries to location(s) based on daily manifest as well as picking up potential returns, as needed
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to all DOT regulations and guidelines
• Building relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience
• Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
