Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking CDL-A drivers for dedicated freight across the Southwest. You will haul consistent loads with a dedicated planner, typically returning home every 2 weeks, with 34-hour resets built in.

Average weekly gross pay ranges from $1,200 to $1,300, with a $1,000 guaranteed weekly pay during your first 3 months after solo dispatch. A $15 stop pay plus a monthly performance bonus adds additional earnings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• Trainees welcome: a valid Class A CDL and 120+ hours of CDL training.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer with CDL-A.
• Maintain logbooks and comply with regulations.
• Deliver freight to stores along dedicated lanes.
• Coordinate with planner and follow assigned lanes.

Job description

The Seat

• Dedicated Freight: consistent retail loads across Arizona, California, Nevada, and New Mexico
• No Touch: you never unload by hand
• One Planner: a dedicated planner who knows your lanes
• Miles: 2,000 to 2,200 per week

Pay

• $1,200 to $1,300 average weekly gross
• $1,000 weekly guaranteed pay for your first 3 months after solo dispatch
• $15 stop pay plus a monthly performance bonus
• Home every 2 weeks, with 34 hour resets built in

Good to Know

• Early starts are part of the job, some deliveries are set for 5 AM
• Live unloads at some stores, you wait, you do not lift
• Day and night dispatches

New CDL? Start Here

• New CDL-A holders are welcome to apply
• 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced trainer
• Guaranteed weekly training pay, then straight to full solo driver pay
• Must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school
