Job summary

CANPACK Group in the United States (Olyphant, PA) seeks a Decorator Specialist in the Back End department. You will inspect, maintain, and repair decorator machinery to keep it running at peak efficiency and within quality specifications.

The role requires at least 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, ability to read drawings, and strong problem-solving skills. TPM training and safety compliance are essential. Shift: 2-2-3, regular full-time.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Specialist in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and fire-prevention practices.
• Basic knowledge of welding, plumbing, and fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform overall maintenance of machines according to maintenance plan.
• Repair and test equipment to specification.
• Trouble shoot faulty equipment, assemblies, and repair or replace defective parts.
• Check accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies.

Position Summary

Fit,assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical plant equipment.Ensure decorator machine is operating at peak efficiency within quality specifications.

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables

• Perform overall maintenance of machinesaccording to maintenance plan.
• Repair and test equipment to specification.
• Trouble shoot faulty equipment,assemblies,and repair or replacedefective parts.
• Check accuracy and quality of finished parts,tools, or sub-assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specification.
• Proficient with use of precision measurement equipment and tolerances including feeler gauges and dial indicators.
• Ensure regular maintenance and troubleshooting of problems with machinery.
• Trainand develop employees on the concepts of TPM (total preventative maintenance).
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of systems, including performing internal audits as required.
• Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Vocational education a plus(Mechanical, Technical or similar).
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• 3 years’ experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Specialist inmanufacturing/industrial environment.
