Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a Decorator Machine Operator in Indiana to support the operation of decorator equipment, ensuring peak efficiency within quality specs. You will perform maintenance, basic repairs, and routine quality checks in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires 1-3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a loud, hot manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Vocational education a plus (Mechanical, Technical or similar).
• Self-motivated with high attention to detail required.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as a team.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of decorator equipment while maintaining quality standards.
• Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan.
• Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs).
• Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies.
• Assist Decorator Specialist with repair of defective parts.
• Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production.
• Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
