Mercy in St. Louis is seeking a Lead Decontamination Specialist to oversee the decontamination process in hospital rooms and ensure a safe, sterile environment for patients and healthcare providers.
You will operate and maintain decontamination equipment and support the supervisor with daily workflows, while adhering to infection control standards and Mercy's safety policies.

The Lead Decontamination Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the decontamination process of hospital rooms; utilizing and maintaining relevant decontamination equipment; and assisting the supervisor with daily workflows to maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service. Prior healthcare or laboratory experience
