HQ USAF and Support Elements is seeking a Government Information Specialist to perform comprehensive security declassification reviews of Air Force historical records under EO 13526 and related security directives. The role requires applying regulatory knowledge to protect classified information and to coordinate with agency experts.

The position supports complex declassification projects, presents findings to stakeholders, and maintains the agency's security review database.

Formación

• Requires eligibility for Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance as applicable to DoD positions.
• Education must be accredited; foreign credentials evaluated for equivalence.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct declassification reviews of DoD/DAF historical records under EO 13526 and corresponding security guides.
• Design and conduct declassification surveys and advisory research with input from agency experts.
• Present findings at meetings and maintain the agency’s security review database.
