Manthey Hospitality in Tampa, FL is seeking Deckhands for the Pirate Water Taxi, offering part-time and full-time roles. Join a safety‑sensitive team delivering an iconic waterfront experience and guest-focused service.

You will assist the Captain, keep the vessel clean and safe, and participate in drills while engaging with guests. The position requires outdoor work in all weather and shift flexibility. Benefits include health options and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid state-issued ID.
• Ability to swim 100 yards and tread water for 3 minutes.
• Physically able to lift and assist passengers in emergencies.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass pre-employment and random USCG drug testing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support the Captain with line handling, docking, and navigation duties.
• Ensure passenger safety during boarding, transport, and disembarking.
• Maintain vessel cleanliness across decks, restrooms, seating areas, and exterior.
• Assist with fueling, potable water intake, and waste removal.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures.
• Provide friendly, engaging guest interactions while maintaining safety.
• Perform routine maintenance including washing, painting, and detailing.

Manthey Hospitality is hiring Deckhands for our Pirate Water Taxi brand. This safety-sensitive role is essential to vessel operations, passenger safety, and maintaining the polished presentation of our water taxi services.

What You'll Do

• Support the Captain with line handling, docking, and navigation duties
