Job summary

Manthey Hospitality is hiring a Deckhand for the Pirate Water Taxi in Tampa, FL. The role is available as part-time or full-time to support vessel operations and guest experiences on the water.

Responsibilities include assisting the Captain, ensuring passenger safety, maintaining the vessel, fueling, and routine maintenance while engaging guests in a safety-conscious manner.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid state-issued ID.
• Ability to swim 100 yards and tread water for 3 minutes.
• Physically able to lift, carry, and assist passengers in emergencies.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass pre-employment and random USCG drug and alcohol testing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Maintain vessel cleanliness (decks, restrooms, seating areas, exterior).
• Assist with fueling, potable water intake, and waste removal.

• Provide friendly, engaging guest interactions while maintaining safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance including washing, painting, and detailing.

Manthey Hospitality is hiring Deckhands for our Pirate Water Taxi brand. This safety-sensitive role is essential to vessel operations, passenger safety, and maintaining the polished presentation of our water taxi services.

What You'll Do

• Support the Captain with line handling, docking, and navigation duties
• Ensure passenger safety during boarding, transport, and disembarking
