Marquette Transportation Company Gulf-Inland, LLC is seeking Deckhands to join their team operating on the Mississippi River System, Gulf-Intracoastal Waterway, and near-shore coastwise market. Deckhands are responsible for a variety of physical and operational tasks aboard vessels and barges. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable with extended periods away from home. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and eager to work in a dynamic marine environment.

What You’ll Need

• Ability to be away for periods of time (schedules are generally 28 days away and 14 days home)
• Must be 18 or older to board a vessel
• Must be able to meet all physical qualifications per company guidelines
• Must have Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or be able to attain it
• Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language
• Must be able to handle and lift rigging (up to 75 lbs-100lbs)
• Reliable transportation
