Qualifikationen

• Willing to be away for extended periods (typically 28 days away, 14 days home).
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Physical labor experience outdoors is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Build and check tow with tools and equipment.
• Move and stack rigging on vessels and barges.
• Move pumps and hoses and place in wing tank/void for removal of water.
• Assist with locking, sweeping and shoveling barges.
• Carry rigging and equipment weighing 50–100 lbs.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Daily vessel housekeeping such as cleaning crew living quarters.
• Check barges for water or leaks; may involve confined spaces.
• Maintain vessel appearance through washing, painting, and chipping.
• Assist with stocking and delivery of supplies to/from vessels.
• Support skiff operations to allow crew to shore and back aboard.
• Assist in transfers including fuel, lubricants, and bilge liquids.
• Periodic cleaning tasks: trash removal, mopping, scraping, sanding, painting.
• Fleet/tow work preparing barges for customers.
