Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Tillamook seeks a Deckhand to support farm operations, including planting, maintenance and harvest of clam and oyster beds. Responsibilities include boat operations, maintenance, and assisting with on-site tasks in a safety-conscious, organized manner.

The role is seasonal full-time, with a requirement for at least six months of related experience and prior boat operator experience; a driver’s license is preferred for the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of related experience in construction, manufacturing, farming, or related industry is required.
• Prior boat operator experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Boat Operations and Maintenance: manage dredge boat condition, work with boat operator, perform basic maintenance, operate farm boats and equipment.
• Farm Operations and Support: perform shellfish bed tasks including planting and harvests, maintain bed and farm records, ensure safety, assist with organization and cleanup.
