SafeSplash Alexandria (Kingstowne) is seeking a Deck Supervisor to oversee pool safety and supervision at the facility in Alexandria, VA. You will serve as the lifeguard on duty, enforce safety standards, assist swimmers and swim instructors, and respond to emergencies as needed.

The role requires maintaining Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications, along with prior swim instruction experience. Lifeguard prerequisites per American Red Cross standards must be met.

Qualifications

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer.
• Previous swim instruction experience is required.
• Must complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lifeguard on duty.
• Observe and patrol the pool area, enforcing safety regulations per American Red Cross Lifeguard standards.
• Assist swimmers and swim instructors as needed.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrival.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports.
