Job summary

Fence & Deck Depot in Missouri is seeking a dedicated craftsman to learn and grow in woodworking. This year-round position runs from 6am to midafternoon, with project length varying day to day.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, digging holes, using hand tools, reading a level, driving, and occasional Saturday work. Training with strong growth potential and competitive pay are offered.

Fence & Deck Depot, founded in 2001, installs fences and decks to both residential and
commercial customers. As one of the largest providers in the St. Louis market, we are a team of over 50 people and install over 40 miles of residential fencing and 60,000 square feet of decking annually.

We are seeking a dedicated craftsman who is ready to learn and grown in their woodworking abilities. This position is year-round (non- seasonal position) from 6am-midafternoon, project length varies day to day.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

• Loading and unloading materials
• Digging holes and using shovels
• Using basic hand tools (tape measures, hammers, speed square)
• Reading a level
• Driving vehicles
• Working occasionally on Saturdays

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced with power tools (mainly circular saws and drills).
• Should enjoy working outdoors.

• Problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous deck experience is preferred, but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Being able to lift up to 80 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Performing activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.`

  COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • $20-$25/hour DOE. After the training period is complete, the potential to earn $45k-$55k per year.
