Job summary

Sole Engineer position on a 28m private expedition motor yacht based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The vessel requires hands-on maintenance, open-ocean experience, and the ability to perform cylinder replacements, fix AC systems, and hydraulics during a multiyear world cruising program.

Open to international applicants with STCW, ENG1, and Marine Engineering certification; salary is DOE. The role includes an extensive travel schedule, with a refit currently in Florida and crew of three onboard for

Steel hull, 180 GT. Must have open ocean experience as the vessel is world cruising.You should be able to replace a cylinder, fix the AC system, and work on the hydraulics. Vessel will take a lot of maintenance and upkeep in the engine room.We are looking for someone with a sense of adventure that is willing to commit to a 3-year world traveling program to include the Caribbean, Cook Islands and the Mediterranean.Open to male and female candidates.Preference is for Australian, British, South African or New Zealand candidates.Owner will be onboard for roughly 3 weeks out of every 5.
