Job summary
ZS Associates in Evanston, IL, invites PhD candidates in engineering, mathematics, or other quantitative fields for a summer internship within our Insights & Analytics group. You will develop and apply statistical models, design analyses in R, Tableau, SAS, Visual Basic and Excel, and present findings to clients.

Qualifications
- PhD candidate in engineering, mathematics or other quantitative discipline; internship during summer before final year.
- Strong academic performance with analytic coursework.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply advanced statistical models for client issues.
- Design custom analyses in R, Tableau, SAS, Visual Basic and Excel.
- Synthesize and communicate results to clients and teams.
- Develop client relationships and serve as key contact on projects.
- Provide project status updates and deliverables to clients and ZS teams.
- Guide and mentor Associates on teams.
- Support problem-solving and contribute to ZS's capabilities.
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration and learning opportunities.
