Job summary

Randstad USA in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Manufacturing Deburring Technician to ensure machined parts meet customer specs by removing burrs and finishing surfaces. You will use precision hand and power tools to prepare parts to exact tolerances.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing measurements with calipers and micrometers, and inspecting surface quality. Safety, records, and teamwork are essential in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• 3 years of deburring or precision finishing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined components using hand/power tools and deburring equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications accurately.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical equipment.
• Identify and report nonconforming parts or quality issues to management.
• Perform final cleaning and preparation of parts prior to inspection or shipment.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records; follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Keep work areas organized and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about quality craftsmanship? We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Deburring Technician to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our machined components meet strict engineering standards and customer specifications by removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections. You will work with precision tools and measuring equipment to deliver top-quality finished parts.

salary: $38,000 - $52,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Deburring & Finishing: Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined components using hand tools, power tools, abrasives, and specialized deburring equipment.
• Blueprint & Specification Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications accurately.
• Quality & Inspection: Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and workmanship requirements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical inspection equipment.
• Defect Reporting: Identify and promptly report nonconforming parts or quality issues to management.
• Preparation & Cleaning: Perform final cleaning and preparation of parts prior to inspection, assembly, or shipment.
• Documentation & Safety: Maintain accurate production and quality records, follow all safety procedures, and wear required PPE at all times.
• Team & Operations Support: Keep work areas organized, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist with other manufacturing operations as needed.
