Job summary

ARCH Global Precision is seeking a Deburring & Finishing Technician to perform repetitive part finishing tasks such as cleaning, deburring, grinding, and polishing to produce machined metal parts. The role includes cross-training across production stations and working with microscopes and hand tools while maintaining safety standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior manufacturing experience, with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Finish parts by cleaning, deburring, grinding, and polishing as directed.

Position Overview

As a Deburring & Finishing Technician you will perform repetitive part finishing tasks such as cleaning, deburring, grinding, and other production operations to produce machined metal parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Part Finishing:
  • Scrapes or rubs parts with file, wire brush, or buffing cloth.
  • Holds part against buffing or grinding wheel.
  • Deburrs or polishes parts.
  • Cleans interior surfaces of holes.
  • Applies abrasive compound, wax, or other dressing to facilitate cleaning or polishing operation.
• Will be crossed trained to work at different workstations in production as needed.
• Frequently will use a microscope and a variety of hand tools to assemble and finish the machines parts.
• Follows safety procedures accordingly.
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Optional overtime on Saturdays (as needed)
