Job summary

ARCH Medical Solutions in Quakertown, PA is seeking a Finishing Technician to perform repetitive part finishing tasks, including cleaning, deburring, grinding, and other production operations to produce machined metal parts. You will work in a modern CNC manufacturing environment with typical hours, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and optional overtime on Saturdays.

• High school diploma or equivalent required or related experience.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; follows instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a temperature-controlled facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing tasks: cleaning, deburring, grinding, and other production operations.
• Cross-train to work at different workstations as needed.
• Operate hand tools and use microscopes for assembly/finishing of parts.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized workstation.
• Adhere to production schedules and quality standards.

Description

Position Overview

As a Finishing Technician you will perform repetitive part finishing tasks such as cleaning, deburring, grinding, and other production operations to produce machined metal parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Bench assembly:
• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Uses hand tools to assemble small parts.
• Part Finishing:
• Scrapes or rubs parts with file, wire brush, or buffing cloth.
• Holds part against buffing or grinding wheel.
• Deburrs or polishes parts.
• Cleans interior surfaces of holes.
• Applies abrasive compound, wax, or other dressing to facilitate cleaning or polishing operation.
• Will be crossed trained to work at different workstations in production as needed.
• Frequently will use a microscope and a variety of hand tools to assemble and finish the machines parts.
• Follows safety procedures accordingly.
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
