Moog is hiring a Deburrer for our Blacksburg, VA onsite team. You will deburr machined parts, verify tolerances under magnification, and prepare parts for finish and assembly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to understand and apply all English instructions.
• Ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish machined parts by removing burrs, corners, and rough edges using hand tools, sandpaper, emery cloth, steel wool, and compounds.
• Work under high power magnification to achieve precise dimensional tolerances.
• Use soda spray to clean machined parts.
• Maintain and store tools and equipment properly.
• Ensure work meets drawings, quality standards and work instructions.
• Accurately complete paperwork legibly.
• Efficiently use computers to access documents and verify updates.
• Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Process.
• Work with minimal supervision.
