• Perform work under high power magnification to achieve precise dimensional tolerances.
• Use soda spray to clean machined parts.

• Ensure completed work meets drawings, Quality Standards and work instructions.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Access documents and verify updates on computers.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Process.
• Work with minimal supervision.

Work Schedule: Onsite - Blacksburg, VA

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Smooth and finish machined parts by removing burrs, corners, and rough edges using hand tools, sandpaper, emery cloth, steel wool, and various compounds.
• Perform work under high power magnification to achieve precise dimensional tolerances.
• Use soda spray to clean machined parts.
• Properly maintain and store tools and equipment.
• Ensure completed work meets the specifications outlines in drawings, Quality Standards and work instructions.
• Accurately and legibly complete all necessary paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Efficiently use computers to access documents and verify updates.
• Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement Process.
• Work with minimal supervision.

Salary Range

Blacksburg, VA $16.00-$20.00 Hourly Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
