Responsibilities

• Manage finish technicians and final part processing.
• Oversee passivation, deburring, and final visual inspection.
• Track raw material inventory and coordinate with machinists.
• Supply prepared stock to machinists and operators.
• Rework damaged or blemished parts as needed.
• Maintain safety and workplace standards; promote a non-hostile environment.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and assist with 41+ lb two-person lifts.
• Document and communicate results to stakeholders.

Job description

This position is responsible for managing finish technicians and any final part processing that is required to process raw machined parts into inventory. Including but not limited to processing incoming and outgoing parts, working in the passivation dept., and conducting final visual part inspection.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”.
• For all on-site positions, must show up to work to perform job duties.
• Deburr and final visual inspection of parts.
• Perform all secondary ops including brazing, passivation, and blasting.
• Track and coordinate raw material inventory for upcoming orders.
• Work in mirror polishing dept.
• Collection and disposal of scrap material.
• Supply machinists and operators with properly prepared raw stock.
• Rework damaged or blemished parts.
• Get along with others, not creating a hostile work environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to work with and as a Team.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and 41+ pounds as a two-person lift.
