Job summary

Flex in Memphis is seeking a Training Development & Delivery expert to design and deliver structured debug training for technicians and operators. You will create materials, run classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job sessions, and develop onboarding and certification programs related to debugging processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, product testing, troubleshooting, repair, or debug operations.
• Experience delivering technical training in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret schematics, assembly drawings, test procedures, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structured debug training curricula for technicians and operators.
• Facilitate classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training sessions.
• Create training materials, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, presentations, and competency assessments.
• Conduct new hire onboarding and technical certification programs related to debugging processes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
• Train employees on troubleshooting methodologies, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
• Provide guidance on diagnosing product failures using test equipment, software tools, and diagnostic systems.
• Support production teams during escalations of complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering to incorporate design, process, and product changes into training programs.
• Promote best practices for repair, rework, and failure analysis activities.
• Assess employee technical competencies and identify skill gaps.
• Maintain training records, certification matrices, and qualification status.
• Develop cross-training plans to increase workforce flexibility and technical capability.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Recommend enhancements to troubleshooting procedures, training methods, and documentation.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives.
