Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 1-3 years of professional accounting experience.
• CPA designation strongly preferred; commitment to CPA certification for progression.
• Strong GAAP knowledge with ability to prepare complex journal entries and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) and interest in applying AI to accounting workflows.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for debt fund portfolios using Fair Value GAAP.
• Prepare consolidation files for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) with Portfolio Controller.
• Prepare and post journal entries; review NAV packs and coordinate reporting with tax.
• Coordinate cash transactions, investor subscriptions/distributions, and quarterly fee processing.
• Lead AI-driven process improvements to automate recurring accounting tasks.
• Analyze investment performance returns and verify accuracy of accounting information.
• Identify operational challenges and collaborate with off-site teams to improve reporting.
