Job summary

ProPivotal is seeking an accounting leader to own end-to-end debt fund reporting and close processes. You will manage a team, coordinate offshore resources, and partner with portfolio management on forecasts and ad hoc needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Fund accounting, close, and financial statement preparation experience.
• Strong general ledger fundamentals, including reconciliations and consolidation concepts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage deadlines across multiple stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with both routine close work and ad hoc requests.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process for debt fund portfolios and deliver accurate financial statements on deadline.
• Oversee accounting for debt investments, including bonds, loans, warehouses, and securitizations.
• Review reconciliations, support schedules, and financial statement tie-outs prepared by the team.
• Drive external audit execution across planning, interim, and year-end, and manage audit requests throughout the year.
• Strengthen internal controls, documentation, and processes supporting financial reporting and compliance.
• Support investor reporting activities, including capital calls, distributions, and capital account statements as needed.
• Collaborate with portfolio management to support internal reporting packages, forecasts, and special projects.
• Coach, develop, and allocate work across the team while managing competing priorities.
