Job summary

Achieve is seeking a Debt Consultant to join the Debt Resolution team to guide customers through personalized debt solutions. You will manage a pipeline of high-debt, high-intent customers and conduct consultative conversations to understand their financial picture and guide decisions.

Job Description

As a Debt Consultant on our Achieve Debt Resolution team, you’ll work with customers facing higher levels of unsecured debt and guide them through personalized solutions to regain financial control. These customers are often further along in their decision journey but require a skilled, consultative approach to fully understand their situation and confidently move forward.

In this role, you’ll manage a pipeline of high-value opportunities and lead conversations that balance empathy, education, and financial clarity often closing within 1–2 interactions. This role is designed for experienced sales professionals who excel at building trust quickly, navigating complex financial conversations, and driving clear decisions.

We are proudly offering remote and hybrid options in the Phoenix, AZ metro market. This role requires employees to have high speed internet/fiber broadband connection.

Start Date: January 11th, 2027

Shift(s): Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday day shift hours

Hours: 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00am-8:00pm start times (MDT- Arizona)

Total Compensation: $75,000- $85,000 on average, and top performers earn $100,000 + annually + benefits. This information represents the expected on-target earnings for this role broken down into an hourly base pay plus uncapped commissions.

What you’ll do

• Balance empathy with direction, guiding customers through emotionally and financially complex decisions
• Drive efficient decision-making and close opportunities, often within 1-2 calls
• Prioritize opportunities and execute targeted follow-up to maximize conversion
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years of experience in inside sales, with a preference for consultative of financial sales environments
• Proven success in a commission-driven role with consistent goal attainment
• Strong ability to navigate both emotional and analytical conversations
• Experience managing a pipeline and prioritizing opportunities effectively
• Confidence discussing financial situations, trade-offs, and long term outcomes
• High School diploma or equivalent
