Job summary

Perdue Farms seeks a New Hire Trainer for 2nd shift in Lewiston Woodville, NC. The role focuses on introducing new associates to basic training, safety practices, and production knowledge, coaching proper work techniques and reinforcing safe habits.

You will guide team members through hands-on training, assess performance, and document evaluations for supervisory review. This position emphasizes teamwork and a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
• 6 months of training experience.

Responsibilities

• Introduce associates to their jobs, including basic training, rotation procedures, safety work habits, donning and doffing procedures and clock-in and clock-out procedures.
• Maintain a skill level at or above the required certification level for all positions.
• Be able to perform a scrape test and evaluate new associates.
• Review performance with associates and advise of strengths and weaknesses.
• Forward documentation of all evaluations to Supervisor.
• Monitor associate's progress and report to supervisor on a daily basis.
• Facilitate incorporation of associate into work team.
