Job summary

Tyson Foods in Texas is seeking a lead operator to assist the Supervisor in coordinating the daily tasks of the debone department. You will ensure instructions are carried out promptly and correctly and will monitor equipment for proper operation.

The role requires meeting USDA, HACCP and production standards, making staffing decisions based on product flow, and relieving line personnel as needed. Applicants must have at least six months of lead experience with one employer in the last 12 months

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of debone area.
• Set up department and monitor USDA, production and HACCP requirements.
• Monitor equipment and notify supervisor for maintenance; ensure safety.
• Relieve line personnel and cover absenteeism as needed; maintain housekeeping.
