Job summary

The ideal candidate will have lead experience, the ability to work in a cold, noisy environment, and strong communication skills to report safety and production metrics to management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to read and write; must be able to read a scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead Person must perform all jobs in assigned area per plant POG procedures, ensuring safety, quality and productivity.
• Assist the production Supervisor in ensuring the process adheres to plant and USDA procedures and is prepared for start-up.
• Maintain sanitation verifications and update shop floor control boards with performance and safety data.
• Assist with daily activities, communication of process changes, and job rotation across the area.
