Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is seeking a Deposit Operations professional to review and resolve unauthorized Debit Card and ACH activity, ensuring compliance and accuracy. You will process disputes, issue credits, and communicate with customers about claim status.

Role requires high school diploma, strong analytical and communication skills, and at least one year in a banking or regulated setting. Opportunity for growth within the department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and data entry skills.
• At least one year of office-related experience in banking or similar regulated field.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate, and resolve unauthorized Debit Card and/or ACH activity.
• Maintain knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to this position.
• Process unauthorized or disputed debit card transactions.
• Issue provisional credits, final credits, charge backs, and process adjustments within regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare communications to customers regarding claim status.
• Provide clearing sheets to Reconcilement Representative I for clearing Reg. E items.
• Assist branches and customers regarding disputes.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes; work with Compliance and Audit as needed.
• Collaborate with team to achieve department goals and provide quality service.
• Support Deposit Operations to meet annual goals.
