Job summary

UC San Diego seeks an experienced, strategic leader to serve as Dean of the Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE). The Dean will guide teaching and learning, elevating undergraduate student outcomes and equity across colleges, divisions, and disciplines.

Reports to the Executive Vice Chancellor and collaborates with Teaching + Learning Commons, advising, and campus leaders to align programs, policy, and assessment with the university’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership in undergraduate program development and reform.
• Serve as Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO) for WASC SCRC reaffirmation.
• Collaborate with Teaching + Learning Commons, Academic Advising, and Career Services.
• Oversee colleges, Teaching + Learning Commons, and program initiatives.
