Job summary

Bloomfield High School seeks a Dean of Students to provide administrative leadership, student discipline oversight, and academic counseling in a 210‑day calendar. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Educational Administration.
• Possess or qualify to possess a valid New Mexico Educational Administrative License.
• Five years certified teaching experience in a primary/secondary school, plus three years preferred administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Take disciplinary action as needed and enforce attendance policy at the site level.
• Collaborate with leadership teams, district cabinet, and staff to implement policies and school programs.
• Furnish reports and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and ethics standards.
• Lead guidance activities for students, staff, and parents; support post‑K–12 planning and interventions.
